Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Lastwell Financial (lastwellfinancial.com). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

The service

Lastwell projects a future balance from the numbers you enter. Its output is only as accurate as those numbers and the schedule you describe.

Not financial advice

Lastwell is a planning and arithmetic tool, not a financial adviser, lender, broker or accountant. Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, tax or legal advice. Decisions about your money remain yours.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you enter. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You may delete your account at any time.

Acceptable use

• Don’t attempt to access other users’ data or break the service.
• Don’t scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its content.
• Don’t use it for anything unlawful.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is and as-available. Features may change, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service. We’ll give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.

Subscriptions, trials and cancellation

The free plan is free forever. Pro is billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on the pricing page, in US dollars, and renews automatically until you cancel. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial: a payment method is collected when the trial begins, we email you 3 days before the first charge, and if you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged at all. Accounts created during the open beta are flagged as early users and receive 50% off for their first 12 months, applied automatically at checkout.

You can cancel at any time from the customer portal, linked in your settings. Cancelling stops future billing and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, after which the account moves to the free plan.

Refunds: cancel anytime to stop future billing. If a charge looks wrong, or something went wrong on our side, contact us and we will sort it out, including goodwill refunds where they are fair. Statutory refund rights where you live are unaffected.

During the open beta, every account has full Pro access at no cost and no payment method is required.

Your data and billing changes

Billing state never destroys data. If your account moves from Pro to free, nothing is deleted: extra accounts, cards, loans and scenarios stay visible and keep counting in your history, they simply become read-only, and forecast views clamp back to 30 days until you upgrade again. You can export your data at any time, and deleting your account cancels any active subscription first.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lastwell Financial is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of a projection.
